The future development trend of industrial fans

[Abstract]:
Let's take a look at the factors affecting the wind efficiency of industrial fans. I hope that major manufacturers can find a way to improve.
Industrial large fan blade shape effect
The shape of the fan blades also has a large effect on fan efficiency. The shape of the fan blades directly affects the eddy current intensity near the blades, thereby affecting the efficiency of the fan. Therefore, improving the shape of the blade so that it has a better streamline shape and a suitable bending angle not only helps to reduce eddy current noise, but also greatly improves fan efficiency.
Effect of blade material
Tests have shown that the blade material of the fan also has a certain degree of influence on its noise. For example, the blade of cast aluminum has less noise than the blade of stamped steel plate; the blade of nylon has less noise than the blade of metal. In general, the larger the loss factor of a material, the smaller the noise.
Effect of the number of blades
Increase the number of blades of the fan, and increase the air volume of the fan under the condition of constant speed. Or, under the premise of obtaining the same air volume, the fan speed can be reduced, thereby reducing fan noise. However, when the number of blades is 5 or more, the number of blades is increased, the air volume is limited, and there is a negative effect on the noise reduction characteristics.
Blade width effect
The low-speed wide-blade fan and the high-speed narrow-blade fan have the same air volume, the former produces 4dB (A) lower noise level than the latter, and the power consumption is reduced by 27%. Reduce the gap between the fan and the windshield to prevent airflow disorder and reduce fan noise. Tests have shown that when the gap is zero, the air volume increases by 27%, and the noise drops by 3dB (A). The speed is reduced to return the air volume to the original level, and the noise can be reduced by 2dB (A).
